Hello, my name is Natalie Ubeda and this is my story:
I started at Sitel in 2015 when I was 19 years old. What really motivated me to be part of this company was the fact that I wanted to support my family and be independent. From the very first moment I stepped inside Sitel, I knew I was going to go far and beyond.
As a Customer Service Representative, I was able to learn how to listen to people’s concerns and put myself in someone else’s shoes. It was very fulfilling to help customers and know that I got the chance to make their day a little bit better.
I had the opportunity to be part of different campaigns and lines of business within the company. I learned to work as a team and I wanted to challenge myself to become a better person and professional.
In October 2018, I decided that I wanted to continue growing and I became a Mentor for upcoming classes. After a month, I had the opportunity to apply for the Coach Track Trainee position. I am very thankful that my managers helped me and provided all the tools that I needed to achieve the goals I had set up for myself. During the process of becoming an official Coach, I faced some adversities, for example: making a name of my own and not feeling overshadowed by teammates with greater experience in the field. I was able to overcome this by building trust with each other and myself. I am very proud to say that my team is one of the top-performing teams in the floor.
I plan to continue growing within Sitel. I am lucky to be part of a company that is interested in making everyone feel valued and capable of achieving all the goals that we want without any limit because of our gender.
