Who would have thought that it was possible for a college graduate from a medical field to get into the call center industry and for a male-dominated Technical Support program back in 2004? This is not the usual scenario, but this is how MY amazing career started at Sitel. Not only did I pass the training and phone certification less than a year in the program, but I also rose up the agent ranking to the number 1 spot due to my above-average Customer Satisfaction and First Call Resolution scores, great attendance and positive can-do attitude. When an opportunity presented itself in 2006, I took another leap of faith and accepted the challenge to share my skills and knowledge and this was through the Learning Specialist role.
Fast forward to today, I am proudly still in the Learning Department, doing my best to raise an army of more female Learning Specialists and Leaders who can do anything they set their hearts and minds to with grace, passion (and fashion) who will not settle for mediocrity.
